Special Events at Wyandotte Winery

We are always looking for ideas of fun and exciting events to host at the winery. If you have an idea send it to us! Documents on this page are in Adobe PDF format. We are still looking for volunteers to help us out at Vintage Ohio, the great Ohio Wines festival in Kirtland, Ohio. Send a note to Robin if you are interested. We will get you into the festival for free, and even give you a great Wyandotte Winery t-shirt!

Wyandotte Winery's wine will stock the Key Home wine cellar at this year’s Parade of Homes in Gahanna. The wine cellar is built under a suspended garage floor and is an impressive feature to this property. Check out the parade at the Village at Hannah Farms from June 14-29. Come get some ideas of how you can create your dream wine cellar! Valerie, our own “Chief Whiner”, will be giving a demonstration on Wine Tasting Techniques and Wine and Herbal Cheese Pairings at the education tent at the Parade of Homes on Saturday June 14th at 3 PM.

We are really excited about the kickoff of the new Capital City Wine Trail with the “Summer’s for Grillin’ Weekends” trail event. From noon to 6:00pm on June 20-21 and June 27-28 you can visit the wineries of the Capital City Wine Trail and have a great time. The Capital City Wine Trail is made up of Wyandotte Winery, Buckeye Winery, Camelot Cellars, Shamrock Vineyard, Slate Run Vineyard, and Soine Vineyard. For this event each winery will have appetizers, samples of their wines, and items like utensils, sauce, and other accessories to make this summer’s outdoor grilling the best ever! Want to have some fun with your GPS? Use it to find wine! Check out the Ohio Wine Producers website for this fun activity. Each month a different set of coordinates will be listed on the website at http://www.ohiowines.org/cgi-bin/calendar.pl?gps. Punch the coordinates into your GPS, visit the winery at that location, and answer the puzzle questions. Solve the puzzle and you will be entered in a drawing to win a overnight visit to one of Ohio’s most beautiful lodges and inns. Each wine trail has a different winery to find, and each winery has a different drawing to participate in. The adventure goes from now through July, so get out there and start your adventure!
